Four skip sizes for Cape Town homes and builders
- 2m³ mini skip: about 30 wheelbarrow loads, a bathroom strip-out or a small garden tidy
- 3m³ midi skip: about 45 wheelbarrow loads, a garage clear-out or a full garden clean-up
- 6m³ builder's skip: about 90 wheelbarrow loads, a renovation with mixed rubble, boards and timber
- 8m³ maxi skip: about 120 wheelbarrow loads, light, bulky waste from a large clear-out
Three jobs have their own page: mini skip hire for small clear-outs, rubble removal for bricks, concrete and tiles, and garden refuse removal for branches and cuttings.
How skip hire works, from WhatsApp to collection
Send the address and the load
WhatsApp or call 064 582 1436, or use the booking form. Say what you are throwing out and where the skip can stand.
Confirm the size and the day
The reply confirms the skip size, the all-in price and a delivery day in the week you book.
Load it over 3 days
The skip-loader sets the skip down on your spot. Fill it level with the rim.
Collection and disposal
The truck lifts the full skip and takes the load away. Disposal is in the price.
Where the skip stands
A driveway spot needs no paperwork. The truck sets the skip down clear of the street. Narrow driveways and complex bays take the 2m³ or 3m³ sizes.
Driveway or road: the City rule
A driveway skip needs no City permit. A road, pavement or verge spot needs the City of Cape Town's written permission first, with an R712 admin fee for 2026/27.
Fill level and refused loads
Load the skip level with the rim. Waste above the rim makes the skip unsafe to lift.
Loads a skip refuses
- Asbestos
- Paint, solvents and chemicals
- Oil and other liquids
- Gas cylinders
- Tyres
- Batteries
- E-waste (TVs, computers, fridges)
- Medical waste

Skip hire questions from Cape Town homeowners
Can a skip go on the road outside my house?
Yes, once the City of Cape Town has given written permission. A road, pavement or verge spot needs a Temporary Use permit, with an R712 admin fee for 2026/27. A driveway spot needs none.
Do you deliver skips inside security estates and complexes?
Yes. Book the truck with the estate office or body corporate first. Pass the gate instructions to Joe Swart with your booking. Estate rules decide where the skip stands.
Do you deliver skips to Table View and Somerset West?
Yes. Table View is in the Blouberg area and Somerset West in the Helderberg, and both have their own page. Send your street address, and the delivery day is confirmed for the week you book.
Does the skip price include disposal?
Yes. Every price covers delivery, 3 days on site, collection and disposal. Nothing is added for the tip.
